Other Questions of Faith
In our lives we come up with many questions that have to do with our faith. Some of these are more difficult to answer than others. If you have a question that you think has not been answered, the best thing is to pray about it and ask God to help us find the answer.
What is Faith
Faith is defined as trust, confidence, and belief in someone. We know God through faith and He wants us to trust Him. Faith and trust in God are also things that we learn by experience in our walk with Him.
Hebrews 11:1 says:
"Now faith is confidence in what we hope for and assurance about what we do not see.”
We have faith in God when we trust what He has told us. And when we are sure of what He can do even if we haven’t seen it yet.
Is Abortion Right?
The killing of an innocent human being is never going to be right. And although the mother has the right to choose if she is going to give birth to that child, it is a heavy burden on the human conscience to take away a life. In the end, the parents will decide. A child should have the right to live from the moment he or she can survive outside of the womb. I have heard many stories about babies that have been born very early before their time and have survived. As a Christian however, there should be no doubt that abortion is not good unless there are strong life or death medical reasons for it.
